In the garage where Silicon Valley was born, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard hung a sign with a one-word belief, "Invent." Now 75 years later, as HP's technology struggles to stay relevant, we decided to bring the brand back to its founding ideal.
But it's not all talk. HP is splitting into two companies and this film will introduce a campaign about its new consumer facing brand, focused on innovation and reinvention.
It also introduces a new tagline that I wrote, "Keep Reinventing."
